What’s the deal with holiday parties?!
I’ve only been to two holiday parties this year.. which now that I think about it, is better than the zero I went to last year. Last year Yahoo had a really dumb one at the Tribeca Film Festival spot on Canal which I skipped because, really.. why bother? Fast forward to this year, where I was expecting a similar party, except Yahoo being Yahoo, managed to come up with a stupider idea. A silent auction/raffle. Really? The YEP (year end party) in Sunnyvale (HQ) was crazy extravagant and NYC gets stuck with a silent auction/raffle that I hear was reminiscent of a middle school dance.
